When two people edit at once
When two people change the same scribble, even the same sentence, both edits land, and every device ends up with the same page. That’s also true when one of you was offline: your changes merge with everyone else’s when you reconnect. Drawings merge the same way. Nobody’s work overwrites anybody else’s, and there are never “conflicted copy” files.
Check the result after a busy session
Scribblespace merges text, but it can’t judge whether two rewrites made at the same moment read well together. If two people reworded the same paragraph, especially while one was offline, you may find both versions side by side. Give the page a quick read and tidy it up.
Good to know
- CtrlZ undoes your own recent edits in that scribble, not your teammates’.
- Titles merge just like the text below them.
- If someone deletes a scribble forever while you’re editing it offline, your edits to it are discarded when you reconnect. Scribbles that are only in Trash keep your edits and can be restored.
Editing through a share link
People you’ve added to a single scribble from outside your workspace edit it differently: they click Edit, change the title and Markdown, and click Save changes. If someone else changed the scribble in the meantime, saving stops with a message instead of overwriting their work. Copy your text, click Cancel, then Refresh and make your changes again.
