Export scribbles as Markdown

Every scribble is plain Markdown underneath, so you can take it anywhere. Download it as a .md file, or copy its Markdown and paste it into another app.

Download one scribble

1. Open the scribble’s menu: right-click it in the sidebar or in a notebook’s list, or use the ⋯ menu at the top of the scribble.
2. Choose Export Markdown.

The file is named after the scribble’s title and holds its Markdown. With the scribble open, CtrlAltE does the same.

Copy as Markdown

Choose Copy as Markdown from the same menu, or press CtrlAltM, to put the scribble’s Markdown on your clipboard.
