Cancel your subscription
Owners and admins can cancel a workspace’s plan at any time. It stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for and then doesn’t renew. Nothing is deleted when it ends.
- Open the workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar and choose Plans and billing. You can also open Settings (Ctrl,) and pick the Plans tab.
- Select Cancel plan.
- Check the end date in Cancel this plan? and select Cancel plan to confirm.
The plan now shows Canceling and the date it ends. You can also cancel under Payment and invoices on Stripe’s billing page; that too takes effect at the end of the period. If you subscribed during your trial and cancel before it ends, the plan ends with the trial, before the first charge.
Changed your mind?
Until the plan ends, select Keep my plan on the Plans page and it carries on as before. Switching to another plan keeps it too.
What happens when the plan ends
The workspace becomes read-only. Everyone can still read, share and export everything in it, and choosing a plan again restores editing straight away. To keep your own copy, download a backup.
Refunds
The terms say: “We don’t refund partial billing periods, for example when a plan is cancelled partway through one, except where the law requires it.” Questions about a charge go to support@scribblespace.app.
