Delete your account

There’s no delete button in the app yet. To delete your account and its data, email support@scribblespace.app from the address on your account.

Before you ask

1. Save anything you want to keep: in Settings, on the General tab, select Export your data under Your data. See Download a backup of everything.
2. Cancel any plan you pay for and no longer need. See Cancel your subscription.
3. If you own a workspace that teammates still use, hand it over: open it, go to Settings → Workspace and use Transfer ownership. The new owner must already be a member, and you become an admin.

What happens to shared notebooks

Notebooks you shared in a workspace with other people stay with that workspace, so its other members keep access to them. Copies in backups may persist for a short time before they’re overwritten.

Only want to leave a team?

You don’t need to delete your account to stop working with a team. Switch to that workspace, open Settings → Workspace and select Leave under Leave workspace. You’ll need another invitation to rejoin. An owner has to transfer ownership before leaving.
