What is Scribblespace?
Scribblespace is a notes app for you and your team. Notes are called scribbles: pages of plain Markdown with images, drawings, diagrams and links. Scribbles live in notebooks, and notebooks belong to a workspace, which is your team. Everyone in the workspace can write on the same page at once, and you see their cursors as they type.
Everything is saved on your device first, so it keeps working without a connection and syncs to your other devices and your teammates as soon as you’re back online.
What you can do
- Write with Markdown that formats as you type, and press / for headings, to-dos, tables, images, drawings, diagrams and more. See Insert blocks with slash commands.
- Link scribbles and teammates with @ mentions that keep working when a scribble is renamed. See Link scribbles together.
- Keep several scribbles open in tabs and side-by-side panes. See Work with tabs and split panes.
- Write together in real time, and share a single scribble with people outside your team. See Write together in real time.
- Read and write offline on every device. See Work offline.
- Take your notes with you: export a scribble or everything as Markdown. See Export scribbles as Markdown.
- Let Claude or Codex read your notebooks with an API key. See Let Claude or Codex read your notebooks.
Is it for teams, or just for me?
Both. A personal notebook works fine on its own, across your computer and phone. Invite people to your workspace when you want to plan, jot and doodle together.
Where it runs and what it costs
Scribblespace runs in any modern browser and as an Android app, and a Linux desktop app is in preview. See Use Scribblespace on the web, Android and Linux.
Every workspace starts with a 14-day free trial for up to 5 editors, with no card needed. See Plans and pricing.
